There&#8217;s a barbecue area, a great opportunity to visit the farm animals, and a lovely view over V\u00e4nerviken. Bring binoculars and head to the bird tower to get a closer look at the bird life in Varnumsviken.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>4.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/stage-visitvarmland-com.visitvarmland-frojdwebsites.se\/kristinehamn\/en\/culture-history\/kristinehamn-museum-of-art\"><em><strong>Kristinehamns konstmuseum<\/strong><\/em><\/a> &#8211; The art museum is beautifully situated by Lake V\u00e4nern. Bring along a picnic blanket and basket. Enjoy. It&#8217;s a lovely walking path with views of Lake V\u00e4nern between the art museum and Gustafsvik.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>5.<em> <a href=\"https:\/\/stage-visitvarmland-com.visitvarmland-frojdwebsites.se\/kristinehamn\/en\/accomodation\/motorhome-stopover\/kristinehamns-gasthamn-motor-homes-and-boats\">Kristinehamns g\u00e4sthamn<\/a><\/em><\/strong> &#8211; Sitting and cozying up with a picnic while simultaneously watching life in the guest harbor is peaceful.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>6. <em><a href=\"https:\/\/stage-visitvarmland-com.visitvarmland-frojdwebsites.se\/kristinehamn\/en\/activities\/hiking-2\/sannaleden-path\">Sannaleden<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>-From Kristinehamn&#8217;s guest harbor, you walk over Varnan, along the quay and the houses until you reach a forest road. A short distance into the forest, there is a rest area with a view over the guest harbor and Lake V\u00e4nern. The bird life along the shoreline is almost deafening at the end of May\/beginning of June.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>7.<\/strong> <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/stage-visitvarmland-com.visitvarmland-frojdwebsites.se\/kristinehamn\/en\/accomodation\/camping\/kristinehamn-herrgardscamping-and-stugor\">Herrg\u00e5rdscamping<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>&#8211; At Herrg\u00e5rdscampingen, you&#8217;ll find Presteruds Manor House from the 19th century. The manor has its own pier where the view over the strait is beautiful. Here is a &#8221;Love Tree&#8221; where couples can attach a padlock and seal their love for each other. The area is open to visit even for those who are not staying at the campsite.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>8.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/stage-visitvarmland-com.visitvarmland-frojdwebsites.se\/kristinehamn\/en\/activities\/bathe\/vanern-skymningen-beach\"><strong><em>Skymningens badplats<\/em><\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Enjoy a picnic and finish off with a swim in Lake V\u00e4nern. There are plenty of sun decks where it&#8217;s lovely to sit with the sandy beach below. Take a walk along the trail Sannaleden close by.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>9. <\/strong>V\u00e5l\u00f6sundsv\u00e4gen &#8211; The beach walk is beautiful all year round.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>10. <em><a href=\"https:\/\/stage-visitvarmland-com.visitvarmland-frojdwebsites.se\/kristinehamn\/en\/culture-history\/the-picasso-sculpture\">Picassoskulpturen<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>&#8211; At the shore of Lake V\u00e4nern, you&#8217;ll find one of the world&#8217;s tallest sculptures by Pablo Picasso. Lake views, barbecue areas, picnic tables, and Picasso&#8217;s art \u2013 can it get any better than that? Well&#8230; yes!
